Our teachers nurture curiosity, faith, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on exploration, intentional teaching, and authentic relationships.Position Overview:We are seeking an bubbly, energetic, compassionate, and creative Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate values play-based learning, gentle guidance, and creating an environment where each child is seen, known, and loved. The ideal candidate must be willing to teach Bible studies daily and assist children in walking out their Christian faith daily. Candidates must have a professional appearance daily.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with Arkansas CEDELS standards and the Reggio approachFoster a warm, inclusive, and faith-centered classroom communityFoster a child's developing Christian faith through Bible instruction and encouragement of the Christian faithObserve, document, and support each childs social, emotional, and cognitive growthCommunicate openly and positively with families and colleaguesCollaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain a high-quality learning environmentQualifications:Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred)Prior experience in a preschool or early learning setting preferredStrong communication skills and passion for working with young childrenMust meet state licensing requirements (background checks, TB test, etc.)Must dress professionallyAbout Woodland Academy:Woodland Academy is a Reggio Emiliainspired, Christian early childhood program where children learn through discovery, creativity, and connection with nature.
