JOB DESCRIPTION
Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The 2nd shift runs from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and the 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The role involves setting up line tools and ensuring the proper operation of safety devices.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and secure dies by bolting bottom section to press bed or bolster plate and upper section to ram.
- Synchronize automatic material feed for dimensional and press ram action, including roll, hitch, dial, and magazine mechanisms.
- Load material on reels or in bins.
- Operate press to produce pilot pieces for inspection of hole size, dimensions, contours, and shape.
- Use and interpret scale, square, check fixtures, calipers, and related inspection equipment, micrometers, patterns, and samples.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain housekeeping of work areas.
- Pack items produced into cartons or containers.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of press brake and mechanical machine setup.
- Experience with brake press machines and CNC operations.
- Ability to operate 8, 10, and 12 foot press brakes in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Experience with press brakes of 200 tons and below.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with various brake press machines is ideal.
- Must have set up experience.

Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
