JOB DESCRIPTION
Press Brake Operator
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team. This position involves setting up and operating CNC Press Brakes, including Amada, Cincinnati, and Trumpf models, for sheet metal fabrication. The role requires expertise in press brake, punch break, forming, and bending of sheet metal. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to operate other machinery, such as the Laser Machine, contributing to our manufacturing and production processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines for sheet metal fabrication.
- Perform press brake, punch break, forming, and bending of sheet metal.
- Operate additional machinery, including the Laser Machine, as required.
- Ensure the manufacturing process meets high-volume and fast-paced production standards.
- Read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.
- Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools.
- Enter instructions into CNC machines, including setting tool registers and offsets.
- Maintain machines in good working order and understand re-work procedures.
- Understand and ensure finished product characteristics meet quality standards.
- Perform lock out/tag out procedures for safety compliance.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
- Experience with metalworking and hollow metal fabrication is preferred.
- Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders accurately.
- Competence in using basic power tools and machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems and computer output utilization.
- Ability to set up mills and lathes.
- Knowledge of maintaining and operating manufacturing equipment.

The role is situated in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. You will work with advanced CNC equipment and machinery, including press brakes and laser machines. The workspace emphasizes safety and efficiency, with adherence to lock out/tag out procedures. Casual and practical attire is suitable for the manufacturing setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
