JOB DESCRIPTION
We are accepting applications for TEMP TO HIRE Press Operators with one of our Iola clients. In this role, you will be providing machine set-ups and maintenance services to molding area and other areas as needed by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Physically set-up, adjust and troubleshoot base molds, molding presses, dielectric testers, etc.
• Provide technical assistance as requested
• Inspect machinery to identify problems
• Recommend new, improved or modified production tools and equipment
• Assist in the training and development of new Technicians
• Complete Work Orders generated from Preventative Maintenance Calibration schedule
• Verify all safety devices on tooling and fixturing are in proper order daily
• Correct and/or inform the Technician Supervisor of any problems
• Work cooperatively with Tool Room personnel to resolve tooling problems
• Verify initial production run of new or reworked tools
• Maintain inventory of spare parts for use within the Manufacturing Engineering Department
• Ensure client issued toolbox is equipped with necessary set-up tools
• Dispose of used materials or equipment in an environmentally responsible manner
• Other duties as assigned
These are full time positions with two shifts available 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday or 1:30-10:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay is based on experience, but will range between $16-$24/hour.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
