The Taunton Cluster Prevention Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of a primary prevention grant funded by the MA Department of Public Health-Bureau of Substance Addiction Services. Responsible for supporting prevention programming, coalition and capacity building, social media and marketing, and program development as it pertains to SSTAR's prevention initiatives. This position requires knowledge/experience in substance misuse prevention and comfort level working with school departments, community stakeholders, programs and services in the Greater Taunton area. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Obtains supervisor approval in advance of schedule conflicts as well as late arrivals or early departures.Facilitate small and large focus groups.Request, Research and Present data and issues pertaining to substance use, prevention, positive youth development and related topics.Comfortable facilitating small and large focus groups and presentations on issues pertaining to substance use, prevention, positive youth development and related topics.Comfortable requesting, researching, compiling and presenting data on substance use related issues and topics.Records all hours worked by the last day of the pay period.Follows the incident reporting policy and procedure in reporting any unsafe/unusual safety issues.Some local, statewide and national travel may be required for meetings, activities and training.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in social work, public health, or related field, OR3-5 years' experience in Prevention, Education, and/or Public Health with high school diploma.Social media and marketing knowledge, desirable.Driver's license required.HOURLY WAGE RANGE: $24 - $29
