Our team provides compassionate high-quality counseling therapy medication and guidance to patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.Age Group/Range: AdultsPractice Setting/Type: Outpatient OTPSchedule: Part-Time Mon Wed Thurs; 6am-2pmOn-call: Tues Fri WeekendRole Location: Cleveland Comprehensive Treatment Center 8101 Euclid Avenue Suite 21 Cleveland Ohio 44103Compensation Range: $200 - $250 per hour (15 minute appointments)For more information please contact Eva Fassauer at or call/text .Your Role as Physician:The Physician is responsible for the provision of medical services to patients include prescribing dispensing and administration of medication for the treatment of substance use in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Responsible for medical management of patients at all levels of care provided by the clinic. Conduct complete physicals provide treatment and counsel to patients. Provides medical oversight to the nursing department under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinic Director.ResponsibilitiesRole Responsibilities:Responsible for providing medical care for prescribing dispensing and administration of medication to patients at the clinic and within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations as well as by corporate facility or clinic policy or procedures;Performs physical exams on patients admitted for medication maintenance to establish medical diagnosis for acute and chronic health problems;Reviews medical information on patients to ensure medical stability eligibility for program and to offer medical recommendations;Ensuring that all patients are aware of the hazards of the medication treatment program;Evaluates patient care adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes diagnostic test results and patient feedback;Provides patient and staff education on medical maintenance;Reviews and completes medical information for individual care plans documenting services and information in a timely manner maintaining appropriate confidential documentation compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures;Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations CARF standards and clinic policy and procedure; andPerforms other duties as assigned.Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time; andEncourages and builds mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members.Compensation for roles at Cleveland CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location role skill set and level of required by local law Cleveland CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Ohio as set forth above.QualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements:Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited college or universityPrevious experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings such as outpatient residential or correctional facilities is preferred.Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including methadone buprenorphine and naltrexone.Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g. 42 CFR Part 2 HIPAA Joint Commission standards).No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employmentLicenses/Designations/Certifications:Current license to practice medicine by the state of OhioBoard certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification is preferredCurrent DEA credentials are required to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be workingOur Comprehensive Treatment Network23000 Employees 170 Locations 74000 Patients 33 States 1 NetworkAcadia Healthcares Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTC) division operates 170 CARF-accredited outpatient opioid treatment programs (OTPs) nationwide serving patients undergoing treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD).
