Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes.Job responsibilitiesAdvises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologiesApplies enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, roadmap development, and design decisioning, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive dataDevelops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and prioritiesCreates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software designDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersServes as the function’s go-to subject matter expertContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesCreates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functionsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectEstablishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices, ensuring traceability/auditability, resiliency, and security controls Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills15+ years of hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpertise in one or more programming language(s)Deep knowledge in one or more software, applications, and architectureAbility to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and ExecutivesDemonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivityAbility to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into scalable platforms while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirementsStrategic mindset in acquiring payments for payments business - Understanding of the acquiring payments businessStrong experience in Payments auth optimization and protection services: vault, tokens, encryption, risk and other value added services like recurring billing Strong experience in APIs - api standards, functional, governanceExperience with in-store or eCommerce merchant paymentsAbility to understand business requirements, create design, create technical delivery roadmap and technical know how'sPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Practical cloud native experience Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplinesStrong technical background with design and delivery experience with software patterns and principlesExperience as a functional architect (business / product)Experience with domain model, understands business process flow, client experience and use casesUnderstands business capability, features taxonomyStrong communication and leadership presence Cloud certification is a plusPoint of Sale experience is a plus JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
