Principal Associate Project Manager - Enterprise Payments (Hybrid)The Enterprise Payments Program Management Office is seeking a strategic and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. You will work with smart talented people who will challenge you to excel.In this specific role you will manage 1-2 high impact projects with Enterprise wide scope or local Enterprise Payments impact. Additionally the ideal candidate will possess a high level of self-awareness a passion for intellectual curiosity and the ability to influence/lead others without direct authority.General Responsibilities:Lead complex cross-team projects that have a direct impact on the companyPartner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project deliveryIdentify ways to improve streamline business processes and projectsPlan design manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility design planning and implementationEnsure projects process and programs are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and proactively partner with Audit and the second lineManage and oversee projects in a complex dynamic environment revising needs to meet changing requirements including change controlLeverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure projects deliver on intentPartner and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project deliveryExhibit strong leadership and influencing skills without direct authority to effectively drive project effortsDemonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management bringing the ability to put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environmentDemonstrate strong communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels to manage inform and influence outcomesHeres What Youll Need To Be Successful:Extremely organized with strong task coordination and time management skills to drive and deliver resultsStrong project / program and process management skillsStrong communication relationship-building and collaboration skillsStrong problem solving and influencing skillsAble to handle ambiguity and able to dive deep without losing sight of the projects direction and commitmentLocation: This role is hybrid where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in the office and the remainder of the week working virtually.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma GED or equivalent certificationAt least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office or Google SuiteAt least 2 years of Process or Project Management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree or military experiencePMP Lean Agile or Six Sigma certificationAt least 5 years of Process or Project Management experienceAt least 1 year of experience using Jira or ConfluenceAt least 1 year of experience working with Agile methodologiesAt least 2 years of experience in the financial industryAt least 2 years of experience supporting and partnering with internal stakeholdersAt this time Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location.
