To learn more visit our benefits and perks page.Position Overview:The Principal Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the implementation and support of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. This includes but is not limited to reports analytics dashboards and scorecards that deliver data and information to business stakeholders.This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office typically every Monday and Wednesday.Responsibilities:Design and develop BI solutions to deliver accurate reporting and actionable analytics.Collaborate on data structure design to support BI initiatives.Create intuitive user-friendly interfaces to maximize BI system usability.Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Exhibit strong behavioral and leadership skills including teamwork sound judgment achieving results and leading by example.Apply core leadership competencies such as strategic thinking business acumen and effective people management.Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.Required Experience & Skills:Bachelors degree in Business Operations IT or related field (or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).Experience presenting BI solutions to leadership teams.Administration of BI-related software and hardware.Proven ability to design and implement BI platforms from the ground up.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication problem-solving and customer service skills.Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with business needs.Ability to collaborate exchange ideas and identify innovative solutions.High integrity professionalism and positive attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong planning and organizational skills.Experience developing new applications systems or processes.Ability to mentor and motivate team members.Skilled in influencing others to support organizational objectives.Confident and self-assured without being aggressive.Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment.Consideration of organizational mission vision and strategic goals in all work efforts.Ability to build and maintain constructive cooperative relationships.Tools/Systems/Software:Documented experience with BI technologies such as MicroStrategy Tableau SAS Sigma or similar platforms.Physical Requirements:Generally spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices such as but not limited to keyboard mouse and screenGenerally spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands head and other parts of your bodyCompensation:The base pay range for this position is:$115000to$160000Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range including the candidates work experience in related roles; the candidates knowledge skills capabilities and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
