Job Title: Principal International Business DevelopmentJob Code: 31952Job Location: Greenville TX.Schedule: 9/80; Every other Friday offJob Description: Seeking a motivated and experienced business development professional with over 20 years of operational or defense industry experience in commercial and military aircraft missionization and modification. The applicant should have operational knowledge of mission concepts of operations (CONOPS) to include AEWC ISR and EA. This role will be part of a business development team responsible for creating orders opportunities on large international programs ranging from $100M to over $1B. This role will perform strategic international portfolio shaping take on lead roles during international pursuits and report to the ISR Sector Senior Director of Business role will identify the appropriate in-country consultants to shape foreign defense budgets and generate requirements favorable to ISR portfolio strengths. The role will also be responsible for gaining access to international stakeholders in the highest levels of government while leading diverse cross-functional cross-continental teams in engagement of these key stakeholders.The candidate should already be familiar with the LHX common capture process (or industry equivalent) to include skills such as competitive intelligence price-to-win and development of win strategies with emphasis on experience with international offsets. Certification as an LHX Cross-Segment Enterprise Capture Lead is highly desired.Essential Functions: US Citizen TS/SCI or able to obtain a clearance if needed Ability to travel 50-75%Extensive knowledge of FMS/DCS contractingQualifications: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.Minimum of 10 years International BD experience.Extensive NATO and European aerospace procurement experience.Prior relevant experience working ideally within a Defense Industry or operational ISR experience.AEWC ISR or EA mission experience/familiarityAircraft missionization modification and sustainment experienceExperience building partnerships with local industry to meet offset and industrial participation requirements.Proven experience in identifying cultivating managing International campaignsAbility to travel regularly on a global basis required (up to 75%)Experience in a multi-cultural global businessDemonstrated success in fast-moving multi-national change management situationsStrong experience and network within the defined regions of ISR portfoliosStrong work ethic and the ability to act on initiative and work unsupervisedProven ability to interface communicate and negotiate with Senior International CustomersProven track record of International BD success programs in Aerospace and DefensePreferred Additional Skills:Ability to lead through influence manage through ambiguity and demonstrate courage if requiredAbility to identify and pursue technology and innovation initiatives that align to the companys ambition and strategy.High energy proactive dynamic and committed leader who instils passion in both internal and external audiences.Strategic agility in shifting easily between the strategic and tactical the conceptual and concrete.Versed in executive level communications.Ability to develop strong relationships with regional customers and partners.Development of impactful messaging white papers briefing material for internal and external customers; effectively engaging those customersEngage in requirements-based discussions building & executing strategy & managing resourcesMust have strong leadership organizational interpersonal and exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and presentation) and an exquisite attention to detailThe ability to develop foster and sustain extensive and demanding multiple stakeholders and long-term customer relationships and the gravitas to be able to influence and effectively operate at the most senior levels of a Global organization as well as high-status Government Defense and industry partner stakeholders.
