Principal Financial Analyst - Global Supply Chain

About the Role: The Principal Financial Analyst will serve as a key finance partner to the Global Supply Chain and Quality organization, providing accounting leadership, complex financial analysis, and decision support to the organization. This role is mainly responsible for budgeting, tracking, analysis, and audit support of global quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead spend and headcount budgeting activities for global quality initiatives.
- Implement and support project accounting and governance.
- Perform global monthly consolidation/reconciliation, analysis, and metrics over global project spend and headcount.
- Prepare and present program status and financial insight to GSC, quality, and corporate finance leadership.
- Serve as key business partner to GSC Sites and US divisions and drive adherence to corporate targets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist with overall process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with various SOX or EY requests
- Utilize Hyperion, SAP, Tableau, and Excel to review, analyze, and reconcile financial data
- Become a subject matter expert and assist with enhancements of corporate-wide planning tools.
- Leverage system knowledge to continuously improve reporting processes and work with IS to ensure data accuracy and reconciliations across our systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 5 years+ of progressive Accounting/Finance experience
- Experience working with Hyperion
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills are crucial.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial results to non-finance partners.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, Master's degree, CPA, or equivalent advanced professional certification.
- Experience supporting global supply chain or manufacturing environments, including exposure to inventory management, standard costing, and quality-related processes.
- Project accounting experience strongly preferred
- Ability to influence business partners and drive process improvements.
- Experience in a large, global, or matrixed organization.
- Background in medical device or life sciences industry is a plus.
Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
