We continue to grow andwe want you to grow with us.Your Responsibilities as an Industrial Hygienist:Collect noise water air and/or building material samples.Gather analyze and interpret data.Write and review technical reports.Industrial Hygiene Assessments of Chemical and Noise ExposuresIndoor Environmental QualityAir MonitoringBuilding Materials SamplingWater Intrusion and Mold AssessmentsMoisture mappingVisible suspect biological growth assessmentsMold sampling and clearance protocolsAsbestos AbatementAsbestos samplingAsbestos abatement project oversightLead-based Paint InspectionsLead samplingClearance testingAssist with project oversight.Mentor and train project staff.Ensure safe work practices on all project work.Actively develop your own career growth.What were looking for:BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science/Engineering or other related field;Masters degree a plus.Prefer 1-3 years of technical experience.Experience working with industrial hygiene asbestos mold and lead sampling.Asbestos lead and/or mold inspector certifications preferred.Additional EHS certifications/licensures or interest in pursuing additional qualifications highly desired.Knowledge and understanding of asbestos OSHA EPA and state regulations.Ability to work in a respirator and protective clothing.Proficiency with MS Office Suite.Strong research and analytical skills to identify collect organize and document information and data.Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.Valid drivers license good driving history and reliable transportation are required.HAZWOPER 40 Hour Trained with Current 8-hour Refresher preferred.80-90% fieldwork/travel required.Considering candidates residing in South Florida region.Why youll love working for us:Medical dental and vision plan options.Company-paid life short and long-term disability insurance.401k plan.Paid time-off and holidays.Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.Other perks and incentives.Working with the best and brightest in the industry.1800 employee national firm with 50 locations across the US.Apex Job Title: Scientist 1Req ID: 10919#LI-TB1We believe in equality for all and celebrate the diversity and differences of our employees customers and communities.
