Location & Compensation

On-site in Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or California (East Bay – San Francisco, Palo Alto, Santa Monica, Los Angeles).

What You Will Be Doing

• Developing and coaching Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at world-class standards.
• Designing Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, engaging learning activities, and strategies for overcoming obstacles.
• Delivering consistent, actionable coaching to Guides to maximize student participation and outcomes.
• Serving as direct mentor to a small student cohort, demonstrating expert-level coaching and motivational techniques.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Developing lesson plans – your Guides support student learning via adaptive applications; your priority is training them to become outstanding motivators.
• Compromising on expectations – when our success benchmark is 100%, your role is to uphold that standard.
• Running uninspiring professional development – you'll train Guides through dynamic, high-impact, experiential learning sessions.

Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences genuine enthusiasm for school, progresses at 2× traditional speed, and builds essential life skills. No exceptions.

Basic Requirements

• Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at one of the Alpha Campuses listed above.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related fields.
• Proven track record of creating and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities with a history of building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
• Direct experience working with youth (ages 5–18) in educational or developmental settings.
• Competence in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Employment Terms

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position that requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD per year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
