Job Title: PLM Solution ArchitectOverview:We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Solution Architect to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem. This role will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to create scalable data structures, streamline processes, and ensure the PLM environment supports future growth. The ideal candidate brings deep data modeling expertise, strong PLM platform experience, and the ability to define and drive enterprise-wide standards.Key ResponsibilitiesData Architecture & ModelingDesign and implement scalable, future-state product and part data structures.Develop and enforce standardized naming conventions, attributes, metadata, and hierarchical relationships.Analyze complex product hierarchies and define consistent data models across the enterprise.Ensure data structure integrity to support downstream processes such as engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality.PLM Configuration & Process EnablementConfigure PLM data models, workflows, lifecycles, and change management processes.Translate business requirements into PLM configurations and technical solutions.Ensure product structures are fully optimized within the PLM environment and aligned with engineering best practices.Partner with cross-functional teams to harmonize processes and ensure seamless adoption of new PLM capabilities.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to align PLM structures and processes.Serve as a subject matter expert to guide teams on PLM capabilities, data governance, and process impacts.Provide recommendations and thought leadership around PLM standards, system enhancements, and roadmap planning.QualificationsStrong expertise in data structures and data modeling, including complex product hierarchies.Hands-on experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, or similar).Proven ability to configure PLM data models, workflows, lifecycles, and change management.Experience collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to align product structures and processes.Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
