The program chief is the primary technical interface to the customer and has the primary accountability for meeting technical requirements and scope for the program including cost and schedule. They lead the development of work methods develops overall systems strategy provide support and guidance to various technical teams and approve common work practices.This position is onsite in Colorado Springs CO.What You Will DoPrimary technical interface to the customer and has the primary accountability for meeting technical requirements and scope for the program including cost and schedule.Directs technical system-level trade studies and has design authority approval.Ensures processes are adhered to by the engineering execution team and liaises with program management and PMT leads to assure technical goals are achieved.Responsible for capturing lessons learned.Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into ProductionLead project activities provide technical guidance and motivate multi-disciplinary engineering teams ensuring collaboration of Engineering and Production activitiesCoordinate project staffing with Engineering Management and provide timely forecasts of staffing demandPerform Risks & Opportunities Management activities throughout project executionTrack report and analyze project health metrics to include Earned Value Requirements Test Burndown Software/Hardware Discovery and QualityPresent project status to multiple levels of LeadershipSupport internal and external stakeholders as the primary technical point of contactSupport Pursuit & Order capture activities including bidding & estimation efforts for new projects. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
