Job Title: Principal Program ManagementJob Code: 31758Job Location: Palm Bay FL (On-Site)Job Description:L3Harris Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and capable Program Manager within our Military Avionics Division for a new development this role you will be responsible for driving program execution and overall program success including AOP objectives and key milestone achievement. This position will have a direct interface with customers internal R&D teams and executive leadership.Essential Functions: Manage and direct all phases of the program lifecycle from development contract award through transition to production Provide leadership for a multi-disciplinary team and program staffing within a matrix organization Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and accountability for all aspects of program execution Utilize strong Earned Value Management skills to establish integrated cost and schedule baseline Deploy processes for and provide rigorous management of risks change control and program dependencies Deliver regular briefings to customers military stakeholders and internal senior leadership Ensure customer satisfaction and foster growth of new customer relationshipQualifications: Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; Or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience; Or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience Ability to obtain US Government security clearancePreferred Additional Skills: Demonstrated experience managing large development programs specifically avionics/embedded systems Experience with multiple contract types including cost plus and firm fixed price Supplier/subcontractor management Engineering degree or technical background/industry experience MBA or PMP#LI-CG1Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Project Management Methodology,Project / Program Management,Program Management,Management Experience,Microsoft Powerpoint,Project Management,Microsoft Project,Budgeting,DoD Experience,Leadership Experience,Supervising Experience,Contracts Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
