You will be rewarded for your passion and your achievements.General Responsibilities:Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the companyDrive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as neededPlan design manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility design planning and implementationLeverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentationPartner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project deliveryForge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitmentsIdentify ways to improve and streamline business processExhibit a proven track record of project management bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the workDemonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage inform and influence outcomesDemonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demandsDisplay strong consulting and collaboration skillsBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or Military experienceAt least 4 years of experience supporting partnering or interacting with internal business clientsAt least 4 years of Process or Project Management experiencePreferred Qualifications:5 years of experience working supporting or partnering with internal business clients5 years of Project/Process Management experienceProcess or Project Management certification (ie Lean Six Sigma PMP) Business Management certificationStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem solving and influencing skillsWork experience achieving results with complex projectsProficient in end to end project management deliveryAt this time Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.This role is hybrid where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office (McLean VA or Richmond VA) and the remainder of the week working virtually.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean VA: $117300 - $133900 for Principal Project ManagerRichmond VA: $106700 - $121700 for Principal Project ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
