Principal At New Media High School

New Media High School envisions a learning environment that cultivates the next generation of visionary storytellers, innovators, and industry leadersempowering students to reshape the future of entertainment and push the boundaries of creative expression. Through immersive, hands-on learning experiences, students collaborate on real-world projects while developing technical and creative expertise in filmmaking, animation, and emerging media. As Principal, you will lead and inspire a vibrant community of creative thinkers, fostering a culture rooted in innovation, collaboration, and artistic excellence. You will set and advance the school's vision, build strategic partnerships with industry leaders, and ensure students are prepared to thrive in an ever-evolving media landscape. In this role, you will be a driving force in empowering the next generation of storytellers and entrepreneurs to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

Principals are responsible for all aspects of school programs. They are responsible for and maximize the school's impact on students' academic success and social and emotional development, support and hold all students and staff accountable for meeting high expectations, and are accountable for instruction, personnel management, and operations. Principals ensure schools provide equity of educational opportunity, and utilize culturally responsive practices to promote each student's academic success and well-being.

Master's degree from an accredited college or university. New Jersey Principal Standard Certificate or a Certificate of Eligibility for Principal. Demonstrated successful building level administrative or supervisory experiences. Demonstrated success in increasing student achievement and effective staff development at the building level, utilizing a variety of approaches that emphasize inclusion and acceptance. Leader candidates with a background or experience in visual arts or fashion are preferred.
