Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs our Restaurant Operating Partner, you’ll drive operational excellence and make sure Whataburger high standards are met by keeping the restaurants in your market area clean, safe and ready for business. You’ll be responsible for bringing the most out of the Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members who work for you as they deliver excellence again and again to our customers. QUALIFICATIONS:At least (3) years of restaurant leadership experienceManagement responsibility of more than one restaurant / multi-unit in a quick-service or full-service chain restaurant organization preferredDriving is essential for this position so a valid driver’s license with liability insurance, a good driving record and a satisfactory background check is requiredAdvanced communication and negotiation skills along with the ability to motivate assigned staffDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment with strong leadership skillsAbility to prioritize and work on more than one project at the same timeAdvanced understanding of back-of-house systems, point-of-sale systems, restaurant operating systems, budgetary concepts and procedures, delegating projects, performance review process and the ability to prepare and present ideas/recommendations to colleagues, managers and direct reportsAbility to lead and inspire teams in all aspects of the businessAbility to create a positive and exciting atmosphere for guests and family membersFood Handlers CertificationFood Safety Certification (requirement may vary based on city, county or state) Whataburger is more than a burger chain.
