Job DescriptionJob DescriptionT&M Associates is looking for a Principal Water Engineer to join our growing Columbus, Ohio office. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with a balance of remote work and in-office collaboration. We’re seeking an experienced professional with 7+ years in water and wastewater planning, design, and construction administration, ready to lead impactful projects and guide multi-discipline teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (required)7+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater process, treatment, and distribution projects2+ years of project management experience preferredOhio Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferredProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D desiredMS Office and MS Project experience requiredStrong communication skills with proven ability to work with clients and cross-discipline teamsKey ResponsibilitiesLead planning and design for municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure projectsManage budgets, schedules, deliverables, and technical documentation from design through constructionOversee complex projects, including Design Reports, bidding, and construction phasesDevelop proposals, budgets, and technical strategies for new opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong client relationships through active engagementAssemble and mentor multi-discipline teams, providing guidance to junior staffT&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $104,500 - $135,000.
