Be part of a team that values expertise, leadership, and continuous improvement.As a Privacy Operations Manager within the Data Privacy Product Team, you will lead the development and execution of privacy controls and risk management strategies. You will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, collaborating with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, Data & Analytics, and Technology. Your work will ensure alignment with firmwide privacy requirements and drive continuous improvement of privacy processes. You'll foster a culture of privacy by design and deliver operational results through effective team leadership. This role offers you the opportunity to influence business decisions and protect customer trust.You will oversee privacy incident response, risk assessments, controls implementation, and the processing of consumer privacy requests. You'll lead a team of privacy professionals and educating business units on privacy best practices. You’ll maintain and update privacy documentation, support regulatory engagement, and collaborate on cross-business privacy strategy. Your expertise will help translate complex privacy requirements into practical solutions. You'll be in a highly visible role with significant impact on the organization’s privacy posture.Job responsibilitiesManage team that leads investigations of privacy incidents and coordinates remediation and root-cause assessmentsCollaborate with Compliance and Legal to manage escalations and regulatory notificationsDevelop and maintain privacy governance frameworks, policies, and standardsOversee key risk indicators, metrics, and reporting related to privacy risk and control effectivenessDrive continuous improvement of privacy processes, controls, and documentationDesign and implement mitigation strategies to reduce privacy risk exposureAdvise business teams on privacy implications for new initiatives and third-party relationshipsBuild and oversee implementation of privacy controls across data and systemsDevelop, measure, and report on privacy metrics and control performance to senior leadershipLead a team of privacy professionals to deliver operational resultsDrive privacy awareness programs and deliver training for privacy operations and risk ownersRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience in operations management, privacy, or data protection risk managementStrong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skillsExcellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadershipProven leadership experience managing teams and executing large-scale initiativesFamiliarity with data management, data architecture, and data analyticsComfortable working in a matrixed, cross-functional environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentExperience developing and implementing privacy training and awareness programsHigh level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive informationPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAbility to translate complex privacy or data requirements into practical business solutionsExperience with incident response, investigation, and remediation of privacy breachesExperience building data frameworks and operationalizing data risk managementExperience educating and influencing business units on data concepts or privacy by designChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
