Private Dining Associate Eataly Flatiron at Eataly North America

The Private Dining Lead essential support in the coordination and execution of private events catering and banquets across the Eataly NYC locations. Working closely with the Private Dining Manager this role ensures clear communication with guests accurate planning and smooth on-site event coordination. Strong organizational skills attention to detail and effective communication are key to success in this position. Reports to the Private Events Sales Manager and General Manager of Restaurants.Event Coordination & Guest CommunicationRespond to private dining and event inquiries in a timely professional mannerSchedule and conduct site visits or walkthroughs with potential clientsSupport the preparation of proposals contracts and event orders (BEOs)Assist with client communication pre- and post-event (menus timelines headcount changes etc.)Administrative & Platform Support Maintain accurate records in the event management platform (Tripleseat Reposite etc.) Help track deposits payments and documentationCollaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure event details are accurate and up to datePrint and prepare menus signage and event collateral as neededDay-of Event Support Assist with event setup and breakdown in coordination with FOH and BOH teams Greet and support clients and guests during eventsAct as a liaison between the client and service team to ensure expectations are met Monitor timelines and service flow to ensure smooth executionReporting & Feedback Support post-event recaps and feedback collectionLog guest feedback and support trend tracking for future improvementsCommunicate frequently with the Private Dining Manager and Corporate CoordinatorQualifications :  2 years of experience in private dining banqueting catering events or a related fieldStrong interpersonal and written communication skills Highly organized and detail-orientedComfortable working in a fast-paced guest-facing environment Proficient with Microsoft Office and event platforms (experience with Tripleseat Reposite SevenRooms is a plus)Able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings weekends and holidays depending on event schedulePassion for food Italian culture and guest hospitalityJob RequirementsAvailability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekendsAbility to stand and be mobile for periods up to 4 hours in a high-volume fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 25 poundsCompensation: This position pays a base rate of $25 - $28 per hour Comission Additional Information : Benefits and PerksMedical Dental Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!Eataly is an equal employment opportunity employer.
