You may review modify or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions the Private Wealth Management Trust Advisor is responsible for the acquisition of Personal Trust Estate and Investment Management client relationships. Responsibilities include prospecting developing internal and external business networks for the purposes of generating new business opportunities and participating in sales addition to client acquisition the Advisor is responsible for retaining and providing advisory services and support to their existing client relationships.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerforms perpetual discovery assessing a clients financial situation to retain & grow the client relationshipActs as a personal trust subject matter expert overseeing the most complex and sophisticated trust and investment management client relationshipsProvides guidance and solutions for the development and on-going maintenance of highly complex investment allocations goals and objectivesConsistently generates large and complex new business opportunitiesKeeps abreast of trends and developments in the trust and investment management industry to ensure prudent administration and investment managementPartners with Trust Administrator to oversee the set-up implementation and administration of trusts estates IRAs IMAs and custody accountsEnsures that account administration complies with fiduciary principlesCoordinates client service activities with other wealth management partnersMentors and coaches junior trust advisorsMay supervise other associatesMay assist in new product developmentThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelors degreeTwelve (12) years of Trust Administration Estate/Tax Law Financial Planning or relevant experienceExpert knowledge of trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accountsPreferencesAdvanced degree (e.g. Juris Doctorate (JD) Master of Laws (LLM) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Taxation)Professional Certification(s) to include Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) or Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS)Skills and CompetenciesConsistently a top performerAbility to interpret and present complex topics in a concise and effective mannerCan confidently explain solutions with a high degree of influenceAbility to manage multiple goals and deadlinesExcellent oral written and organizational skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)Strong presentation and sales skillsPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. As these factors vary by individuals pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum:$146108.52 USDMedian:$210222.90 USDIncentive Pay Plans:This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan.
