Position TitlePRN Med Surg CNAGreat Bend HospitalPosition Summary / Career Interest:The Patient Care Assistant - GB is an unlicensed staff member who is accountable to and completes delegated tasks from the RN in a caring and culturally sensitive manner with excellent customer service at all times.Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsCollects initial and on-going data as delegated in regards to the health status of the patient based on chart documentation.Follows an individualized plan of care that promotes positive immediate and long-term outcomes for the patient/family and reflects the plan of the entire health care team.Carries out interventions safely and in compliance with policy to facilitate achievement of expected outcomes as delegated.Accurately documents patient response to intervention /therapy based upon expected outcomes.Carries out delegated patient care activities and communicates with other members of the healthcare team as evidenced by positive patient outcomes.Must be able to perform the professional clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
