The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing production processes improving efficiency and ensuring product quality. This role involves analyzing existing processes identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering experience in process optimization and a passion for continuous improvement.Location: Austin TX. Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement solutions to optimize production efficiency reduce waste and improve product quality.Develop quote and deploy tools to facilitate manufacturing processesConduct process simulations and modeling to analyze performance and identify potential bottlenecks.Collaborate with contract manufacturers to implement process changes and improvements.Design and implement new processes or equipment to support production goals.Conduct root cause analysis for process failures or quality issues and implement corrective actions.Develop and maintain process documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.Provide technical support and training to production teams on new processes or equipment.Monitor process performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.Country: United StatesCity: Austin TXRequirements:Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field.Proven experience in process engineering preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in statistical analysisExperience with 3D printing equipmentProficiency in process simulation software and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.Experience with process automation and control systems is desirable.FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACESolarEdge proudly seeks to build a richly diverse workforce by hiring people with a diversity of thoughts identities perspectives and experiences that help advance the difference we make for consumers and by ensuring our people experience equity and inclusion in their work lives.
