The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Process Engineers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction. Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap. Design develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment. Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and improve existing workflows. Ensure all processes comply with safety environmental and quality regulations. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. 2 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma SPC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis tools. Experience with process documentation P&IDs and manufacturing process flow.
