Process Engineering Manager at Coherent

DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for a team of process engineers and technicians accountable to support development activities across a range of InP and GaAs new products being developed in Sherman for future mass production.Lead and manage 6-10 engineers and 4-8 process technicians.Education & ExperienceMinimum # yr. experience should be 10 years in a process engineering role preferably with management experience. .BS/MS in an Engineering field or equivalent degree / experience.SkillsLeadership capabilities to demonstrate strong execution capabilities in a rapidly changing and high priority environment.Strong interpersonal teaming and problem-solving skills.Work effectively with other members of Coherent integration program management and executive teams.Working ConditionsStandard 1st shift on site.Physical RequirementsAs expected in a management role.Safety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
