Job Title: Continuous Improvement Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company Location: Grovetown GA 30813 Duration: 2 Years (possible extension) Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM 100% Onsite Summary The Continuous Improvement is responsible for leading and supporting process improvement initiatives across moderately complex manufacturing operations. The role focuses on continuous improvement data-driven analysis documentation and cross-functional coordination to enhance engineering and product development processes. Responsibilities Process Improvement & Analysis Lead and contribute to improvement projects using IMPACT Six Sigma and change management methods. Use data analysis and financial/decision tools to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Develop clarify and maintain process documentation aligned with business and strategic goals. Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) Lead RCCA activities for new product development programs. Support experimental builds and development-phase engineering activities. Provide consistent status updates and progress reports to stakeholders. Issue Review & Project Coordination Facilitate and document engineering and quality review meetings including: Build issue reviews Field test reviews Design reviews PDP/CI reviews DFMEAs (as required) Virtual RQAs Track and ensure completion of action items with thorough and sustainable solutions. Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational and documentation skills. Experience with Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies. Ability to lead meetings drive follow-ups and manage action trackers. Knowledge of manufacturing processes engineering workflows and issue-tracking systems. Proficiency with SharePoint reporting tools and cross-functional communication.
