TFC Poultry recently expanded and opened our second poultry production plant in Winchester, Virginia, as such we're currently hiring for our Procurement & Sales Director.The Procurement & Sales Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for the development and coordination of the protein procurement and sales program, while cultivating supplier and customer relationships to maximize market opportunitiesKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Become a master at relationships with both raw material vendors and customers to maintain a pulse on the market, its needs, and its opportunitiesStrengthen strategic customer and supplier relationships through regular visits and interactionsNegotiate and close contracts with leading food manufacturers and suppliersIndependently research and strategize prospects to aggressively expand our customer base and extend our reachOversee the procurement and sales team's daily operations through mentoring and leadershipAnalyze margins, trends, plant and logistical capabilities, product and service intricacies, cause and effect scenarios, and balancing relationship factors to create the best business outcome for the companyWork closely with CEO/COO on developing plant capabilities based on market opportunitiesIdentify and manage company and department goals and initiativesUse problem-solving skills to address issues or complaintsConsistently look for ways to bring value to our partners by offering up ideas and solutions to the TeamPromote personal and company image throughout the communityEducation and Experience: Experience and education relevant to Procurement in the Food Production industryPhysical Requirements:Willingness to travel a minimum of 50%Benefits:75% Paid Employee and Dependent Health InsuranceDental/Vision Insurance3% Matched 401k RetirementPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysFrequent Company LunchesLong Term Disability$25,000 Term Life InsuranceWork boot ReimbursementApply now to join the TFC Poultry family!PandoLogic.
