Project Details: Job Title: Product Development Engineer Location: Santa Clara CA or San Jose CA Duration: Full Time Role Job Description We are looking for a skilled Product Development Engineer Failure Analysis (FA) to support advanced semiconductor product development and root-cause investigation. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to analyze device failures validate design robustness and provide insights that enhance product quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed electrical and physical failure analysis on semiconductor devices. Identify root causes of failures using FA methodologies tools and lab techniques. Collaborate with design test reliability and process engineering teams to resolve issues. Support new product introduction (NPI) by validating device performance and failure modes. Develop FA reports documentation and corrective action recommendations. Interpret test data analyze trends and suggest design/process improvements. Utilize FA tools such as SEM FIB TEM PEM OBIRCH EMMI or related technologies. Required Skills & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Materials Science Physics or related field. 3 7 years of experience in semiconductor failure analysis device characterization or product engineering. Hands-on experience with FA tools (SEM FIB TEM etc.) and electrical debug techniques. Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics fabrication and reliability mechanisms. Ability to interpret test data and communicate findings clearly. Experience supporting NPI or high-volume manufacturing is a plus.
