The Alliances and Ecosystem team is responsible for evaluation and establishment of 3rd party technology partner relationships alignment of appropriate stakeholders and establishment of appropriate governance based on established differentiation to ensure ongoing profitability for the Command Center Software business.Job DescriptionThe Product Management Intern is responsible for assisting with strategy roadmap and feature definition within the Public Safety Software Integrations and Command Center Developer Program team including interfacing with senior product managers product owners engineering staff marketing managers and other teams to define and deliver compelling products to the market.The Product Management Intern analyzes market and competitive conditions and participates as part of the team that lays out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on addressing customer problems. This role spans many activities from strategic to tactical and provides cross-functional leadershipbridging gaps within the company between different functions especially between development sales and marketing and support.The Product Management Intern helps the team to define the why what and when of the product that the development team will build.Product Management Intern responsibilities include:Product Vision and StrategyThe Product Management Intern is responsible for being a key contributing member of the team by defining customer problems and contributing to a product vision and strategy. Their job is to collect input and articulate the business value to the product team so together they can develop the intent behind the new product or product release.Identify customer needs and market requirementsEvaluate competitive products and solutionsHelp the team to create business plans and proposals for new initiativesProduct ExecutionProduct management staff must plan for what their teams deliver and set expectations for when they need to deliver it.
