Product Manager II, RCS for Business

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Rich Communication Services (RCS) for business is a new product and is growing quickly. You will be joining a fast-moving environment where new discoveries are frequent and require constant adaptation. In this role, you will be developing product solutions to complex problems with long-term strategic impact to both Google and the entire messaging ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the roadmap for establishing scaled business verification and trust across the ecosystem, which includes global OEMs, mobile operators, and standards bodies.
  • Contribute to the aim of creating the most engaging and safest business messaging platform on earth.
  • Spend time with customers, users, and partners to understand their needs and translate them directly to the future of global communication.
  • Identify the highest impact opportunities both for Google and the entire RCS ecosystem, related to AI-powered agents, conversational design, commerce, trust and safety, personalized brand engagement, or other areas.
  • Enable brands to create the most engaging customer experience possible.
