Job OverviewThe Product Manager acts as a product expert both internally and externally for designated product lines. They keep customers at the center of development projects by maintaining a strong understanding of needs and the market and collaborate cross-functionally especially with engineering manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure that products are differentiated in ways that reinforce our brand-level value propositions. Highlights of your roleProduct Manager:Assist in compiling product line information to support strategy development and roadmap planningHelp gather and organize market research customer feedback and competitor data for team analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development activities within the Stage-Gate processAssist with cross-functional initiatives to identify prioritize and resolve product quality issues ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goalsContribute to pricing discussions for new product launches by preparing data and coordinating with the Pricing DepartmentSupport marketing initiatives by helping draft product messaging aligned with brand positioning and competitive strengthsSenior Product Manager:Develop product line strategies and roadmaps that support growth and differentiationTranslate market research customer feedback and competitive analysis into actionable insightsGuide cross-functional teams through the Stage-Gate development process with a focus on customer valueDefine pricing strategies for new product launches in partnership with the Pricing DepartmentLead cross-functional initiatives to identify prioritize and resolve product quality issues ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goalsSupport marketing efforts with product messaging that reflects competitive strengths and brand positioningYoure a good fit if you have (or if you can)Product Manager:Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Marketing or related field2 years of successful work experience in product management product development or related fieldSenior Product Manager:A bachelors degree in business engineering or marketingAn MBA with a marketing emphasis (preferred)5 years of experience in product development and portfolio managementAlso want to make sure you haveExperience leading cross-functional teams to quickly reach decisions that help balance customer and business objectivesStrong analytical skills and comfort working with market data and researchFamiliarity with Stage-Gate or similar product development frameworks for manufactured productsA thoughtful approach to balancing customer insights with business goalsWillingness and ability to travel up to 25%We invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
