The role works closely with our vendors to ensure that the products being developed and launched allowing the company to compete successfully and effectively in the marketplace.In this role you will:Write technical manuals and test new productsEvaluate repair history and run time of existing equipment; recommend improvementsEvaluate software tools to streamline machinery Surveys/Quoting/Order entryEvaluate existing machinery and recommend spare part kits and pricingSite Survey DevelopmentProvide Print Samples and QuotationsOEM Development and SupportWork with Marketing to develop product launches sales support educational and promotional materials.Assist with pricing strategy and create price listKeep install base and reference account recordsIdentify vertical markets for field follow upProject management for large installationsMain liaison for vendor communication in price negotiationsAssist with setting stocking levels for machines and partsMonitor quality issues and resolve vendor related problemsAssist sales staff with product demonstrations & custom software/equipment developmentProduct application review & approval prior to the sale of custom/turnkey applicationsIdentify & understand competitive equipment & create documentation support for sales staffMaintain up-to-date sales & technical resources for intranetJOB REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in EngineeringPractical knowledge of printing coding marking equipmentIntermediate to advanced technical training on major labeling equipment product linesPrevious experience with inkjet coding in the food & packaging industryHighly proficient in MS Office (excel outlook etc)Working knowledge of Syteline or other fully integrated ERP system.Thrives within a dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Possesses a strong sense of team.Ability to think both critically and creatively to solve problems.Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs.Ability to travel 25 30 percent of the timeWhats in it for youTheres no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
