Product Owner5 days/week onsiteSummaryA leading retail organization is seeking a highly driven Product Owner to oversee the planning, development, and delivery of technology solutions that optimize in-store and digital retail experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, UX, engineering, and QA teams to align product vision and priorities.Own and maintain the product backlog in Jira, ensuring stories are clear, prioritized, and aligned with strategic goals.Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demos.Define product roadmaps and work with leadership to communicate milestones, KPIs, and delivery timelines.Analyze customer feedback, operational data, and retail performance metrics to inform improvements.Ensure solutions support seamless omnichannel retail operations including POS, inventory, e-commerce, and in-store engagement.Partner with engineering to remove blockers and ensure smooth, on-time delivery.Validate releases through user acceptance testing and monitor product performance post-launch.Advocate for best-in-class retail experiences, balancing innovation with operational needs.Qualifications3–7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a retail or consumer-facing environment.Strong proficiency with Jira for backlog management, Agile planning, and reporting.Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience working closely with engineering, UX/design, and business teams.Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories.Familiarity with retail systems (POS, inventory management, order management, merchandising, or e-commerce platforms) highly preferred.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work 5 days per week onsite in Plano, TX.Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 43/hr to 46/hr.
