DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and driven Engineering Intern to join our cabinet production engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in programming, CAD design, process documentation, and data validation-all while contributing to real-world projects that impact production efficiency and product quality.If you're passionate about manufacturing, eager to learn, and ready to make a difference, we'd love to have you on board.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and test programs for machines used in cabinet manufacturingAssist in troubleshooting and validating engineering drawings, product designs, and software programsCreate and maintain SOPs, process flowcharts, and documentation for departmental workflowsDesign and update 2D and 3D CAD blocks, including hardware componentsReview and correct bill-of-materials (BOMs) and resolve material inconsistencies in engineering softwareEvaluate and verify the output of a new AI system designed to enhance production efficiencyPerform entry-level engineering tasks and write formulas within the Microvellum engineering platformConduct data entry and support data integrity across multiple software systemsMajor Projects You'll TackleUpdate and optimize CAD drawings; research more efficient methods for CAD updatesResearch and recommend improved hardware components for cabinet productionReview product lines for inconsistencies and deficiencies using ExcelValidate hardware functionality and ensure compatibility with product designsWrite machine programs to support material processingAnalyze product line variations and recommend improvementsRequirementsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesExperience with Microvellum or similar engineering software is a plusComfortable working with data and performing quality checksBENEFITS: • On-Demand Pay - Access your earned pay prior to payday• PTO- 1 hour for every 40 worked• Additional Employee Perks such as fitness club reimbursement, retail discounts, company apparel, special employee events and meals, and moreRecognized as one of the fastest growing furniture and cabinet manufacturers in the United States, Stevens Industries, Inc. is a world-class manufacturer of wood and laminated products.
