Yes ? No Purpose of the JobThe Production Associate I will perform manufacturing functions associated with building Custom and or BTE Devices. This position will be based out of Aurora, Illinois. Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesMay perform any or all of the following Custom device functionsCut / Trim / SandingLacquerTube InstallationAcoustical TestingMay perform any or all of the following BTE functionsBTE AssemblyBTE RepairBTE Acoustical TestingInvoicingPackingKitting / PickingMaintains workstation in a clean, safe, and orderly mannerVisually inspects product, identifies defects / rejects, and escalates issues as requiredPerforms general routine machine maintenance and daily workstation clean-upActive participation in quality improvement processesInitiates process improvements and motivates peers to achieve team goalsMeets established individual and team goalsFlex to various positions as business needs requireTravelling RequirementNone Qualificationsneed to havenice to haveBasic EducationHigh School Diploma OR GED / equivalent Further Education Work Experience1 - 3 years' experience in manufacturing Personal Competencies-Flex to various positions as business needs require-Able to follow and understand work instructions-Demonstrated understanding of ESD and handling of material in accordance with established safety procedures Social Competencies-Willingness to work in a team environment-Good communication and interpersonal skills Leadership Competencies Ability to train others and use problem solving techniques.Professional Competencies Language(s) / LevelAbility to communicate and comprehend English IT skillsBasic Computer skills Further Requirements-Excellent manual dexterity, use of small hand tools and light bench equipment-Able to read small font-Able to count, verify, and audit inventory locations-Able to perform other duties as assigned-Must be able to stand/walk for 1 hour and sit for 7 hours a day-Lift weight of up to 20 lbs-Repetitive motions using both hands-Must have good vision and theability to work with hands and small pieces
