JOB DESCRIPTION

Production Associate

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery. You will load raw materials into the production line and monitor machines, visually inspecting materials as they are processed. Reporting any issues to the team lead is essential, along with maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure quality standards are met and make machine adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain machinery.
  • Load raw materials into the production line.
  • Monitor machines and visually inspect materials during processing.
  • Report any issues to the team lead.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work with other team members to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Adjust machines as necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in machine operation and maintenance.
  • Experience with loading machines and production processes.
  • Mechanically inclined with skills in mechanical assembly.
  • Experience in inspection and quality assurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
  • Experience operating a clamp truck is advantageous.
  • Quality inspection experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment boasts a great culture where collaboration is key. The facility may be loud and hot, but large fans are being installed for better airflow. Steel toe or composite toe shoes are required before starting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
