Production Associate

Payrate: $21.50 to $25 per hour (plus $2 shift differential for overnight shift)

Location: Bothell, WA

Shifts:

1. Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
2. Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Job Description

The position involves first-level process machine operation, characterized by highly repetitive tasks following a prescribed routine. The role requires the ability to follow demonstrated steps and make simple adjustments to produce items to general specifications. Typically, the work involves operating unique machinery or equipment that does not require formal trade training. Instructions are provided on the job, and the role may involve frequent handling of moderate to heavy materials, with an expectation of walking or standing most of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand and decipher part numbers.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Meet defined production expectations for an inexperienced operator.
• Learn to differentiate between various sizes and types of subcomponents, compounds, and finishes.
• Load and unload subcomponents using material handling tools and equipment.
• Inspect each subcomponent for proper materials, dimensions, and finishes to meet quality standards.
• Perform accurate and timely computer transactions.
• Coordinate delivery to ensure production schedule is met.
• Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in process improvement events as directed.
• Perform required operator maintenance.
• Assist with other functions within the department as directed.
• Assist other departments with various duties and projects as directed.
• Participate in required meetings.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform safety audits.
• Inspect and test completed products.
• Carefully label parts with date, material type, size, part number, and job number.
• Learn to cut, bend, roll, or press materials to size and kit materials for delivery to the appropriate production area.

Essential Skills

• Machine operating and handling machine parts.
• Experience with production equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in repetitive work involving hand tools, tape measures, and mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to run dispatch lists.
• Capability to perform operator maintenance.
• Experience in assisting with material shortages, quality, or safety issues.
• Participation in process improvement events and safety audits.

The role is based in a large manufacturing shop with approximately 200 workers, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Bothell, WA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $44720.00 - $52000.00/yr. PTO paid holidays insurance quarterly profit sharing

Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Bothell, WA.
