This role is donor-facing and requires excellent communication skills as well as the ability to perform physical tasks associated with receiving processing and merchandising donated goods. RESPONSIBILITIESCheerfully greet donors and receive donationsEffectively communicate Life Networks mission statementSort and price donated items Maintains an atmosphere of teamwork and fellowship with other staff and volunteersEnsures donated items meet FTS standards for quality and suitabilityMerchandise processed items onto the sales floor as appropriate contributing to a well-organized and appealing shopping environmentProvide excellent customer service while on the sales floorEnsure cleanliness and organization of the production areas to facilitate efficient donation processingParticipation by all staff is required at Life Networks major eventsEXPERIENCEHigh school graduateThrift store or retail experience a plusQUALIFICATIONSStrong advocate for the sanctity of life issuesPossesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional lifeActive commitment to a local churchA passion for the ministry accomplished through Life NetworkDemonstrates qualities of initiative teamwork and goal orientatedExhibits initiative teamwork and a goal-orientated mindset in accomplishing tasksFlexible and adaptable in handling unpredictable situationsEnjoys interaction with the public providing courteous and helpful service to donors and customersCapable of lifting 50-75 lbs. and performing physical tasks associated with donation handling and store maintenanceHold a valid drivers license with a clean record able to meet transportation needs as required by the positionCLASSIFICATIONPart-time for 24 hours per week. Pay range: $14.81 - $17.00 per hour. Scheduled hours between Monday through Saturday.
