Production LaborerAshland ME - FT/Nights - Temp-to-HireJob Description:Now hiring reliable Production Laborers to work for a local manufacturer that specializes in making wood-based energy products. Great four-day workweek. Prior manufacturing experience helpful but not required. Full-Time/Nights; 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Monday - Thursday. $19.50/hr. with $1.00/hr. differential for night shifts.The Production Laborer will assist with the manufacturing process and help to maintain a safe efficient and well-organized job site. Ideal candidate will be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. have prior manufacturing experience and excel at working both independently and in team-based settings.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and related equipment.Load raw materials into production machines and unload finished products.Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on equipment and work areas.Assist with quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.Follow all safety policies procedures and PPE requirements.Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Production Supervisor.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Perform additional tasks as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent education.Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.Ability to operate machinery and use basic hand tools.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.TEMPO Employment Services is an EEO/AA Employer.
