Production Level 4 - 1st SHIFT Job Titles:

- Glass Dropping & Beading: Inserts raw glass into sashes or frames, applies weatherstripping and caulk, and installs vinyl bead for a finished, sealed unit.
- Set Up: Installs subassembly parts into window frames
- Wrapper: Operates wrapping machinery, labels finished units, and stages completed windows and doors for shipment.
- Glass Grid Saw Builder: Cuts and assembles glass grids using saw equipment, ensuring accurate dimensions and proper construction per production specifications.
- Glass Cart Delivery: Transports and scans glass carts, verifies cart manifests, stages carts, and ensures safe, timely delivery to window production lines.
- Casement Floater: Supports casement window assembly by installing frames, sashes, hardware, and components; assisting with glazing and sealing; and providing coverage across assembly stations as needed.
- Trend Floater: Supports Trend window assembly by installing frames, sashes, hardware, and components; assisting with glazing and sealing; and providing coverage across assembly stations as needed.
- Patio Floater: Supports patio door assembly by installing frames, panels, hardware, and components; assisting with glazing and sealing; and providing coverage across assembly stations as needed.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required. On the job training provided. Training includes equipment operation, work processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Ability to understand English and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills for measurements and documentation.
- Ability to identify correct materials, profiles, and components.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate simple machinery and computer interfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability.
- Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow direction from supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines, trainable for various jobs throughout the plant.
- Fast paced production environment; some areas may involve heat or working with sharp materials.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle large pieces of glass.
- Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills (training provided).
- Required PPE based on production line or task:
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Cut resistant gloves and sleeves
- Physical Demands:
- Medium to Heavy
- Occasional: 50-100 lbs.
- Constant: 20 lbs.
- 1st shift Monday-Thursday: 5:00 AM-3:30 PM (Some lines operate 6:00 AM-4:30 PM.)
- Fridays: Overtime scheduled as needed.
- A criminal background check is required for all positions, upon offer of employment.
