Job SummaryTo coach and guide a team of employees to achieve optimum levels of productivity while meeting our customers service requirements. This position also includes the training and education of all employees involved in production scheduling including both plant and office employees. The manager is expected to balance the workload of key operative equipment to meet budget and expense goals. As necessary the manager is expected to correct poor performance and/or behavior that puts the employee or team at risk or impacts the teams ability to achieve its objectives.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Meet all production objectives and deadlines to satisfy customers delivery performance.Responsible for coordinating daily production activitiesResponsible for posting daily updates for production back-logsDirect staff on prioritizing work to be accomplishedMaintain timely effective and professional communications with all employees regarding all production issuesOptimize equipment scheduling to maximize yield and productivityProvide feedback to inside sales team pertaining to poor scrap engineeringMaintain IT support for hardware and software required for all key production equipmentProvide work order releases for the plant supervisors and other operating employeesAssist in any other duties to support operations as requested by the Operations ManagerThis is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machineryMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
