Production Operator at Eclipse Advantage

On Time Staffing is seeking production operators in McDonough, GA! Pay Rate: $17-$18 per hourJob description: Production workers produce and assemble products in our manufacturing environment. Will operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.Handle equipment starting and stopping activities during each designated shiftManage different stages of the production line by being actively involved in each procedureLoad and unload items from machines and dolliesMake sure that appropriate safety measures are taken into account at every step of the production processPull damaged or faulty items from the production lineEnsure that any equipment or tool malfunction is immediately reportedRecord data at each step of the production cycleMake sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shiftCheck finished product for problems or faults and isolate any damage or inconsistent item immediatelyEnsure proper labeling of finished items and ensure that they are packaged properlyAdvocate safety practices to the rest of the production staffRequired skills, experience, education:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.Physical activities may occasionally include:Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like; moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environmentsCommunicating with others to exchange informationPhysical activities may constantly include:Remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periodsMoving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to anotherAdjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directionsRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and or fingersOperating machinery and/or power tools, depending on positionDepending on position may include operating motor vehicles or heavy equipmentAssessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. Environmental conditions may occasionally include:Low or high temperatures'; or outdoor elements such as precipitation and windEnvironmental conditions may constantly include noisy environments, or hazardous conditions.
