Job Description

This is a full-time **3-4 month** internship with an anticipated start date in May 2026.Nature of work: Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Continuously improve system-based planning processes and documentationWork closely with the manufacturing team and value stream leadership to determine how best to build a production plan that balances service inventory and cost to meet business targetsAnalyze demand requirements and leverage Maestro & SAP to plan raw material purchase requisitions as well as create production orders for semi-finished and finished goods to support the production in each site while taking into account lead-times and limits on material storage as well as managing inventory at a 3rd party warehouseMaintain Maestro & SAP as the real time source of truth for transactional and master data to ensure accurate delivery commitment dates for all customer and inter-company ordersResponsible for ensuring and maintaining accurate master data required to support our planning systems with the goal of providing consistent and process driven management of all Supply Chain related data elements including but not be limited to Material Masters Bills of Materials and RoutingsResponsible for appropriate documentation and maintaining information in appropriate systemsContact person for status on all orders and serve as liaison providing ERP support by interfacing with the various disciplinesKnows understands reports on and improves key performance indicators for planning and manufacturing operations. This will require daily communication and participation in the tier process.Prepare capacity supply plans and other supply-side data as part of the Sales and Operations Planning processParticipate in weekly supply chain reviews where you will give updates regarding KPIs (service inventory etc.) output vs forecast production schedules capacity and material constraints backorder recovery timelines successes and areas for improvementQualifications : Skills:  Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/proceduresAbility to gather and analyze large datasets interpret and take appropriate actions to improve business performanceAbility to articulate thoughts concepts and ideas concisely in both formal and informal situations to all levels of the organizationExperience with ERP systems and ERP planning modules such as SAP Production Planning Materials Management Sales and Distribution Kinaxis MaestroExceptional organization prioritization and problem-solving skills to meet departmental needs solve routine problems make effective decisions and perform various tasks with changing priorities and deadlines in a high volume fast-paced environmentStrong regard for product quality and safety standardsSolid understanding of supply chain principles and tradeoffs. Able to articulate cause and effect of how various actions could influence metrics within supply chain scenarios Education: This role is best suited for anyone currently enrolled in a Bachelors in Supply Chain Management a Bachelors in Supply Chain and Operations Management or a Bachelors in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program. Consideration will also be given to other supply chain programs and degrees.Additional Information : Compensation:The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute but a guide and offers will be based on the individual candidates knowledge skills experience and market conditions as well as internal peer equity.  Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $21-24/hr. Veolia values diversity and inclusion and is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
