Job Description
Role:Reports directly to the Interim Director of Customer Care of North AmericaResponsible for the production planning and scheduling of the North Ridgeville and Elyria facilitiesPlans schedules coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycleProvides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dateManage all the production scheduling and ensure the materials machines and work cells are in position to produce project and to fulfill customer orders (demand)Monitor the overall situation including incoming orders supply chain problems market changes and inventory issues to minimize the impact on productionProactively collaborate with other departments and the management team to set production goals and ensure the workforce needs are met with proper scheduling of colleagues.Utilization of the conceptions of lean manufacturing principles to ensure the continuous flow of production through the production facility promote process improvements with an emphasis on increased efficiency and productivity.Ensure awareness of any production disruptions and productivity problems and adjustment planning and scheduling accordingly.Proactively review customer forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes and adjust productions schedules accordingly:Daily planning scheduling and coordinating production of the products to meet customer demands.Evaluating raw materials and equipment availability capacity and resources to ensure everything is in place for production.Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management including:Production actuals vs goalsDaily/Weekly schedule reviews and updatesPast Due/Over-Under ReportsRequirements:Highschool diploma required.Practical and extensive working knowledge and experience of production processes and quality control in the manufacturing environmentMicrosoft office skills. (Outlook Excel and Word)Strong positive straight forward communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of colleaguesOrganizational and time-management skills with the ability of managing a variety of responsibilities and tasksDeadline driven with a strong attention to detail approachAbility to impact influence coach and motivate cross functional colleaguesAbility to demonstrate a customer care mindset and willingness to support the customers needs Key Skills Lean Manufacturing,Kanban,Inventory Control,Purchasing,FDA Regulations,SAP,Supply Chain Experience,ISO 13485,Production Planning,ERP Systems,Manufacturing,MRP Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Customer Service Experience: years Vacancy: 1
