As a Production Supervisor (2nd shift), you will play a crucial part in meeting the production targets and developing operations staff at Cutting Edge Countertops located in Perrysburg, Ohio. Responsible for hiring, employee development, and performance management. Manage and coach employees to ensure that they are meeting standards and completing tasks in a timely mannerInput and monitoring of product reworksControl and minimize overtime, and repair/re-work expensesLead shop floor safety, organization, and housekeepingTroubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during a shiftComplete all company safety and job trainingMaintain safety complianceReduce rework percentageImprove shift efficiencySkills and ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED requiredBachelor’s degree in operations management or engineering desiredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in managing teams in a manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn countertop fabrication processes and consistently drive strong performance during assigned shiftEager to learn the countertop fabrication workflow and take ownership of shift productivity and qualityDemonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsWell-developed leadership abilities, including excellent communication skills, ability to manage conflict, strong decision-making, and commitment to training and developing your operations team.Ability to learn new software systems, proficient in Microsoft Office software.Valid Driver’s License requiredWork Environment:Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment where exposure to heat, cold and wet floors, and surfaces. The employee will be exposed to airborne particles and wet or dusty conditions.
