Responsible for hiring, employee development, and performance management. Manage and coach employees to ensure that they are meeting standards and completing tasks in a timely mannerInput and monitoring of product reworksControl and minimize overtime, and repair/re-work expensesLead shop floor safety, organization, and housekeepingTroubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during a shiftComplete all company safety and job trainingMaintain safety complianceReduce rework percentageImprove shift efficiencySkills and ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED requiredBachelor’s degree in operations management or engineering desiredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in managing teams in a manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn countertop fabrication processes and consistently drive strong performance during assigned shiftEager to learn the countertop fabrication workflow and take ownership of shift productivity and qualityDemonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsWell-developed leadership abilities, including excellent communication skills, ability to manage conflict, strong decision-making, and commitment to training and developing your operations team.Ability to learn new software systems, proficient in Microsoft Office software.Valid Driver’s License requiredWork Environment:Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment where exposure to heat, cold and wet floors, and surfaces. The employee will be exposed to airborne particles and wet or dusty conditions.
