Job Title: Flex Machine Operator- Production Location: Nampa ID Job Summary:A Flex Machine Operator for GoGo squeeZ-Bel is responsible for learning how to operate various machines on different high speed production lines (i.e. crusher mixer/cooker packaging equipment etc.). This position will be used for coverage in the event of an absence and will assist with quality issues sanitation and projects as needed.Position Responsibilities:Operation of Tetra Pak machine mixing of materials and productsLoad ingredients into Tetra Pak machine according to Maternes specificationsOperate high-speed manufacturing equipment through touchscreen/HMIRead schematics and diagrams to monitor machine activity (flow machine status temperature settings level indication)Testing of PH levels viscosity levels brix levels using quality devicesReceive / inspect materials and accept or reject based on Maternes specificationsOperation of Volpak Machine form fill and seal pouchesLift and add rolls of packaging film into machineObserve materials to identify contamination or foreign materialsInspect pouches for uniformity and qualityDocument all necessary supply inventoriesOperation of Ixapak Machine top loader and case packerReset robotic arm positions after line shut downLoad packaging materials into packaging machineSet machine to increase/decrease number of pouches selected for different size packaging sleevesMonitor materials to identify contamination or foreign materialsInspect product as it moves through manufacturing process for qualityConduct quality testing and record data in a timely and accurate mannerPerform troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipmentOperate industrial carts and power hand cartsBreak down machinery with hand tools to clean and sanitizeComplete daily paperwork and reportsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand for an entire shift 12 hoursMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Must be able to walk up & down stairs multiple times per shiftEducation:High School diploma or GED requiredTechnical / Trade School preferredExperience:Prior experience working as a Machine Operator or similar position in a manufacturing environmentPrior experience working in the food industry is preferredKnowledge/Skills:Strong attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to plan work and anticipate problemsMechanical aptitudeComputer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)Basic math skills including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)If you think that this job is for you please click now on the button Apply.
