Production Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate all third-shift manufacturing activities, ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are met. This role involves managing staffing, monitoring key performance indicators, and supporting troubleshooting efforts to resolve process or equipment issues. You will also utilize ERP systems to track work orders and manage inventory, while supporting ERP implementation and ensuring accurate material flow.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate third-shift manufacturing activities to meet production, quality, and safety targets.
- Assign work, manage staffing, and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.
- Monitor and communicate key performance indicators related to safety, quality, and output.
- Audit work orders and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Support troubleshooting efforts with technicians and engineering teams.
- Utilize ERP systems to move materials, track work orders, and manage inventory.
- Support early-stage ERP implementation and ensure accurate material flow.
- Create, edit, and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Validate film quality using laboratory testing equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and review production results.
- Supervise and develop third-shift employees, including training and coaching.
- Maintain the training matrix and facilitate cross-training.
- Lead daily shift startup and handoff meetings.
- Enforce EH&S standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Essential Skills:
- 35 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including 12 years in an off-shift leadership role.
- Experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with solid written documentation ability.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and maintain consistent, dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience operating tow motors and following material-handling best practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to apply electrical and mechanical aptitude to assist with diagnosing issues.

This position is based in a start-up facility in Macedonia, where innovative products are developed. The facility will soon expand, creating a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. Dress code is business casual, and the role involves working non-standard hours in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley View, OH.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
