Production Specialist First Shift at Idexx

As a Production Specialist you will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks producing high quality medical diagnostic product while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple processes and gain new skills that can help you advance in your will operate under 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO will be making a difference daily by supporting production of innovative products that keep people and animals healthy. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently take initiative and possess agility and a mind for continuous improvement.Shift Information 1st Shift Monday Friday 6:30am 3pmWhat you can expect in this roleYou will perform a variety of production/manufacturing tasks producing high quality medical diagnostic product reagents while maintaining a clean and safe work environmentYou will work with lab equipment solutions and reagentsYou will successfully complete assigned production activities both scheduled and unscheduledYou will record information in Product Documentation in real time and ensure that all transactions are timely and entered accuratelyYou will follow all safety requirementsYou will read and follow documentation SOPs Work Instructions and equipment manualsYou will assist with equipment cleaning maintenance and calibrationsYou will complete assignments under general supervision solve problems as part of a team and assume responsibility as appropriateWhat you will need to succeedYou have a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceYou have the data gathering and analytical abilityYou have ability to multi-taskYou possess strong verbal and written communication skillsYou can work both individually and as a team playerYou have PC skills including Microsoft OfficeYou are a continuous learner who embraces a growth mindsetYou typically have 2-4 years production and/or manufacturing experienceWhy IDEXXWere proud of the work we do because our work matters.
